Stephen Ministry is a ministry in which caring, supportive Christian lay people reach out and support you in times of illness or hospitalization, loneliness, being a stranger in town, depression, going through a time of crisis or grief, working through some problem or concern ... to name just a few of the possible situations.

Stephen Ministry is a relationship with a person who has received 50 hours of intensive training in many helping skills and who will visit you, LISTEN to you, and offer resources if those are needed by referrals. They will be a friend to you, pray with you, and offer distinctively Christian support.

Stephen Ministry is a meaningful way for our congregation to provide and extend an active, ongoing, caring ministry for the people in our church and larger community by sharing this ministry.
